Appearance doesn't always determine your love life. Beauty and the beast in real life? There's no such word as impossible. Nam, "insect faced" girl yet well mannered fell in love with the charming Shone, every girl's dream boyfriend. 

People thought it would be impossible for Nam to be Shone's girlfriend, once again, appearance. She was one of the stupid students at her school, but tried her best to be the first in her class to meet her dad in US. Plus, impress Shone. 

When the time says no, the condition says so. They never be a couple, although when Nam became pretty and famous, she was quite close to Shone.

Plot twist? Big Yes! There was no hint whatsoever that Shone liked Nam since she was ugly. When he accepted to be football player for Bangkok Glass, he opened his scrapbook before he go. He had been taking photos of Nam and made a scrapbook diary out of them.

When Nam finally told Shone how does she feel about him, Shone couldn't do anything since he was in a relationship with his bestie, Pin. 

"Maybe my love will come back someday, only heaven knows. If you really love him, you gotta set him free, and if he returns, I know he's mine."
9 YEARS LATER . . . Nam became famous fashion designer and Shone retired as football player and became pro photographer, a hobby become money. 

They never reveal if Shone married to Nam. There's issue about the second film, but we still don't know.

Friendship, attitude, faith, virtue, and love, was mixed into one film. Tears and smile was collapsed into one. 
This movie is on Thai (and Indonesian), but there are loads of version with English subtitles or other language. Really related to teenage life and teaching lots of value.
