"I'm a little girl in a big big world" could express Charlotte Williams' life. She was raised by rich father, mom was replaced by nannies, due to her death. Being a daddy girl for her life made her a spoiled girl. Always count on money, until she realized money can't be counted anymore. 

Take a few steps back from New York, Charlotte discovered herself enjoying poverty in New Orleans, her nanny's hometown. Started to stand on her own heels was hard, but she kept on trying. 

Discovering new people, true friends, new neighborhood wasn't as easy as she ever thought. Dealing with the real world made her shiver. When she dealt with something out of the police control, she knew she was far stronger than she ever knew. 

From a dishwasher to a L.A singer, Charlotte sailed through the big storm on the ocean.

Nicole set the story in America, but by her way she told us, it made us like we know the neighborhood very well. She made it like real. 

It's also recommended, for those who always boast their money, never cherish friendship, and adore banknotes. The book makes us realize that money is not everything. As long as we are happy, nothing seems too hard.

Farand and I are currently reading books. Farand is reading Insurgent, part two of Veronica Roth's trilogy.

Whilst I'm reading Priceless by Nicole Richie.

Insurgent talks about Evelyn and Four reunion. Who's Evelyn? Four's mother!  Four and Tris wanted to ask help from dauntless who were located in Candor. Apparently, when they arrived, Four and Tris were interrogated with a Truth Serum.

Priceless is a novel talks about the beautiful young lady Charlotte Williams that suddenly became poor. Her journey to start a new life without depending on money start from the beautiful New Orleans.

Time traveller turkeys landed at the past 1621. Their mission was to remove turkey from thanksgiving menu. With an egg shaped time traveling machine called Steve, they went to several ages and tried to accomplish their mission.

Reggie, that happened to be The Great Turkey, fell in love with the only Jenny from the past. Past and future of course have their own characteristic. The conventional Ranger, Jenny's brother, had a 'gentlemen' competition with the futuristic Jake who was raised in a human's laboratory.

When the turkeys were defending, protecting, hiding, and surviving, the people of the nearby village started to starve. Their captain, Standish, was cruel and began the big hunting for foods.

When the leader of the flock, Broadbeak refused to being involved in a war, the war itself came to them. Turkeys against people? Might sounds ridiculous but, it happened.

The moral value is actually about responsibility, courage and faith. If  we have a leap of faith, we can do everything.

The animation was great in 3D, the story line was pretty attractive yet a bit boring for teenagers or maybe young adults. But I surely recommend this movie for educational entertainment.

Title : Looking for Alaska

Seeking the Great Perhaps, Miles "Pudge" Halter transferred to Culver Creek. He met Chip Martin, "the Colonel", Takumi, and Alaska Young, the girl that changed his life. She transformed his innocent self to a mischievous prankster. Then, came Lara Buterskaya, his girlfriend whom he met during precalc training. And there were the Weekday Warriors and "The Eagle".

Then suddenly, Alaska died, leaving no trace behind and nothing had ever been the same. With the Colonel, he poked around in an attempt of finding out her "suicide accident". Giving up, they tried living with grief and unanswered questions. Near graduation, Pudge, the Colonel, Takumi, and Lara pulled off the greatest prank in Culver Creek's history in favor of Alaska.

The day before graduation, Takumi left a note telling him about Alaska's death. What could be the reason? The question remained unsolved.

 

Lone Survivor (2013) Review!

Director: Peter Berg

Actors : Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, etc. 

Genre : Action, Biography, Drama

Marcus Luttrell and his team; Red Wings, were authorized to hunt down Al Qaeda leader in Afghanistan, Ahmad Shahd. 4 of them were set on a rocky hill, which is not their comfort zone.

Fighting at the enemy’s homeland wasn’t that easy. They had to survive through the pain and bad signal. Communication was possible at the first place, but it was nearly impossible in the end.

3 of them died, were killed by Taliban. Long story being cut, Marcus was the only one who survived, dying.

This story is based on true story, or to make it more dramatic and motivating, like its tagline; “Based on True Acts of Courage”

One thing that I was really sad about, is that they said too much fuck on almost every sentence. Well, Life is hard but no cursing is gonna help.
